Company History

The company was founded in the early twentieth century by Fortunato Magnelli. His sons, Antonio and Giocondo, subsequently changed the name to 'Fratelli Magnelli' and today the company is in the capable hands of the third generation of the Magnelli family: brother and sister Antonio and Susanna and their cousin Stefano.From its inception, the company specialized in the importation and transformation of produce from the colonies and of coffee in particular. And indeed, the brandname 'CAFFE' MINGO' has been used since the very beginning. Keeping pace with the demands of the market has led the company to develop a very special selection of Italian espresso coffee in which high quality and authentic taste have always been the prime considerations. Which explains the long success enjoyed by CAFFE' MINGO's own blend in the finest cafès in Florence during the course of more than one hundred years.
